Hello:

I have a 02 starcraft Aruba and we are getting ready to take a long weekend this week so yesterday I decided to start packing early and getting everything ready, well I went to turn the radio on thinking it would run of the battery and there was no power to the radio and then I checked everything no power nothing would run off battery. So I plugged the trailer in and the only thing that would come on is the microwave so I turned all the circuit on and off just to see if that would reset everything and it did not. So I left the trailer plugged in all night thinking that might charge the battery enough to power the trailer and when I checked it there is still no power just the microwave has power. I can't even get the LED light to display on the panel. Any idea's as to what my next step would be to do, everything worked fined the last time we used it this summer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

Brian check the GFI…. And try to plug the trailer into the truck and see if the DC works that way…

Your converter doesn't have 110v to operate or it is operating but a fuse or connection to the 12v distribution is keeping the 12v circuit from operating.
Everything you said supports that except the LED display on the microwave should work, it is pure 110v operation.
The A/C and refer need 12v to operate.
Does the outlet the converter is plugged into have power, 110v?
Do all 110v outlets have power?

Yes, the LED on the microwave works it the LED Panel for the black and gray tanks that don't light up I will check tonight on the outlet plugs, So how do I check the connection to the converter and what do I look for when I pull the fuses.

Thanks,

Brian

It seems like, a good portion of the folks that have power problems here...installed their battery backwards. Because you are having 115VAC problems, I would guess this is NOT your problem, but if you just put your battery back in, might be worth a check. There should be 2 fuses under your tongue some place for your battery. If the battery was installed backwards, one or both of these might be blown too.

EVEN without a battery at all your converter should power all of those 12 volt items (lights, fans, stereo, water pump, etc) so my suspicion is that the converter is not working which had CAUSED your battery to run down. Some converters have a circuit breaker that will turn them off and on but you say you already cycled all of the breakers so that's not a likely cause of your problems.
The sure check for your converter is to disconnect the battery, plug into 120 volt shore power and measure voltage across the positive and negative leads at the converter. No power means bad converter.
