The biggest money pit I own is my S&B house. I just keep pumping money into it to keep it maintained in the hopes that I can sell the blasted thing for a decent price when the nest is empty and I retire. The kids are a much distant second. My camper doesn't even make the top three.

Nope the House has been the biggest money pit:
First I needed a Washer and Dryer, then it had old appliances so I needed a Stove and a refrigerator, then the garage door, a lawn mower, a snow blower, a ladder, not to mention all the little stuff that added up,,

Second on the list is definetly the kid....

The TT is my sanity...

I don't think so. I think the opposite, saves money. Cheaper than staying in a hotel and having to go out to eat for every meal.
Not to mention, with bedbugs all the place, couldn't imagine what that would cost if you brought them home from a hotel.

Enough already with hotel bed bugs, have read about them a zillion times on RV Net. We stay in nice hotels about every 3rd night while touring and never had a bed bug problem...

Anyone else notice boats as the reoccurring item.
Boats are the winner! Luckily I beat my boating addiction, only to discover RV'ing

Well let me think. I've had boats (big and small), houses, collector cars, motor homes, 5th wheels, motorcycles and various other toys and hobbies. However, before I assign a money pit rating I need to factor in 'bang for the buck.'

Hmmmmmm...... all things considered, I have decided the biggest money pit in my opinion would have be (in most cases) government. One will never put enough money there!

See you out there,

Robert

We all enjoy it so much. What would we be doing if we didn't have our RVs? Makes me wonder what was I doing before on weekends.

BOAT buck a.k.a. 'bout another thousand. Been there, paid that

TT is so far a much better "investment"
