We have an '03 Coleman Utah pop-up that has been unusable all season since the failure of the crank assembly. Coleman parts are virtually non-existent. Has anyone found a source that could help us before we have to junk the camper?

Not sure of the part number, but look about half way down and you will see a few lift assemblies.

Have you tried Beckley's RV in Maryland yet ?

Beckley's RV

Beckley's is the RV dealer that bought all of the remaining finished pop ups, partially finished pop ups on the assembly line, and most of the remaining parts inventory from Fleetwood after they went out of business.

They might have what you are looking for.

I was speaking to Beckley's today. They referred me to www.canavasreplacements.com which offers a replacement for whiffletree for $144.
In my case, all I need is a "ball bearing nut" and because there are no Coleman parts available for the lift mechanism I will try my darndest to get something to take its place.
See my challenges in this forum under "whiffle tree".

Not sure how to upload picture; I'll check into forums on how to do that later. However, there is a perfect photo at http://cede.psu.edu/design_projects/fa02/project_summary.htm I need the nut that threads on the left side of whiffletree where the cables connect(picture c) If you magnify your screen to 400% you get a really good photo.

Edited to make link "clickable"...Mike

Try this link for information regarding the ball nut. The poster was able to fix his wiffle tree problem.
