Bwahahahah, nobody even cared to check out those pups at Hershey. Coleman so good, then why the hell did they fail?

They didin't fail, and were in fact the most popular pup going.

Remember Coleman makes nothing, they only sell their name. In this case thy had sold their name to Fleetwood, and several years ago, the two of them got into a argument over the agreement. Needless to say lawyers got involved, and the whole thing went to pieces. Upshot was that Fleetwood continued to build pups untill Fleetwood stopped making pups, and TTs. While at that time the Coleman name was still being held up in the courts, and they could not license it to another company.

They were rumored to be working with Viking, and Coachmmen. And actually signed an agreement with Coachman. But it was blocked by Fleetwood. As Fleetwood had official rights to the Coleman name, and the courts agreed.
After that. You can check out the link provided in above posts.

The only pproblem with Colemans, was that they were REAL pricey. You could get a Viking dressed out the same, for thousands less. And Viking makes a VERY good pup.

I have been thinking and looking at hybrids now . I travel with my mom and dad who are 80. or I travel with my daughter and grandught. putting up the pup is hard with parents. but I will need a new tow vehichle also then. I have Jeep Liberty and its great. I don't like all the room they have in TTs for the bathroom. Camped this last week in rain, rain, and more rain. had to put the pup away wet and now drying. same with a hybrid, I guess. Just wondering?? don't know what I want to do but thinking.... any ideas??? thanks

Thanks again for all your responses. Sorry to get everyone rattled over that Coleman mess again. lol It's a shame about that company as I really liked my Coleman trailer. Anyways, I have looked at the hard side Rockwood A frame trailers as well. Very nice, but not enough storage space for me and the wife.
