I recently purchased a new Bullet 31BHPR and am in the process of closing the details on a 2003 Keystone Cabana that had Hurricane Irene damage. The insurance company is going to total it, but did state that the root appears to have much wear and tear damage.
I'm thankful that they're covering the damage, but it got me to thinking, what is the proper annual maintenance that is required to not only maintain the rig for warranty purposes, but to also protect my investment.
I've gone through my manuals and I'm starting to track the dates they suggest, but I can't seem to find anything about the roof. The dealer stated that I should clean it and seal it annually, but that was it.
I've searched for the term annual maintenance but haven't come up with what I thought would be a list of "Must Dos"
Roof material should be cleaned about twice a year followed by one of the commercially available roof Protectants. At that time you should also inspect the seams and reapply something like Dicor Lap seal as necessary.
