I heat my home with the stuff full basement and all. Maybe start with a small propane grill in the cooking tent and work your way up. As has been stated gasoline is as dangerous or more but we see anyone can fuel up a motor vehical.
Do you really think propane is safer than electricity?

Sure it is - grab a bare copper wire full of electricity and grab a bare copper line full of LPG.
It is all safe when properly used, configured, installed, etc.
Manufacturers build thousands of units with LPG and "most" I am sure are conforming to RVIA building code.
We all play the probability game with everything we do. I do not necessarily like two-way highways. The probability of a head-on collision is much greater than on a divided or interstate class highway. But with the TC, I prefer two lane scenic highways, taking the probable chance that I will not be involved in a head-on crash.
Same thing with electricity when hooking up. What if the campground had a bad grounding system, the ground around your camper is damp, and you touch a metal portion of your camper and become the ground.
Each to his own - I know people that do not use their showers or toilets. The probability that mine are cleaner than the campground showers and toilets is quite high, resulting in my preference to use my own.

Campground electrical systems may not always be the most reliable. I plugged in while at Badlands NP. At first I had no problems then after a few hours, I heard the cooler for the converter. I looked at the voltmeter and the system was at 15v and climbing. I quickly unplugged and have had no problems since. I don't think I have had any electrical issues with my camper. I think I had a problem with the incoming voltage.

That goes way beyond the realm of 'Brown Out', did you report the incident to the CG yet? That low a voltage makes lots of heat. You's a lucky feller.
As to safety? Both Elec and LPG are nothing to fool around with. If you don't know and won't learn... Pay someone else to do the work.
