The Clarion that came with my '08 PW Lexor has always had problems, while it was under warrenty I sent it back to factory twice, but now it refuses to play most dvds and I want to replace it. The space its in is exactly the dimensions of the player, 7"x2" and I haven't found another player that size. I did find a $30 player at Target that I could mount - somewhere...Should I have an installer try to cut the opening larger to fit this, or where else have people mounted theirs, or otherwise solved this type of problem? thank you cat7 (did I meet you at the Moab social?) I'll look up this brand - it would be great if another unit could fit right in, otherwise it was suggested I could have this opening enlarged. I think it could also be mounted under the tv cabinet...
the Valor got mixed reviews on Crutchfield and Amazon but its the only one that'll fit so I'll go for it - I never would have found it without your help, Amazon never brought it up in a general dvd search. Thanks much!
