Changed fuel filter on our '02 Winnebago Journey, CAT 3126B motor. Now, it won't start...

Single filter, no prime pump
Filled new filter with clean fuel
Front of coach higher than rear
Pressurized fuel filler
Cranked 30 seconds numerous times, with appropriate cool times

Suggestions?

Last resort but it always works. "Crack" the fuel lines at each injector, crank the engine til fuel squirts at each loose connection, retighten each connection and attempt to start the engine again. That procedure shold bleed out all air in the system up to the injectors.

Not familiar with cat but what do U mean by pressurized the filter?
How do U do that?
How much fuel drained out of the filter housing when U removed fuel filter. If any at all its now got air in the injector lines. If U do a search on here you will see a fellow ended up with same problem U have, same year and motor,He bought the primer pump and bolted it on,pumped her up and it started right away.

I use to have this problem with a truck I had. Every time I changed the fuel filter I would get air in the system. The fix was to bleed the air out at the input to the injector pump. If that does not work then you have to do each injector.

Check to see if you have a primer pump (should be near the engine fuel filter. If you do, loosen the handle and pump it up until you have pressure on the pump handle. Tighten it back up and then try to start again, once it starts raise the throttle to around 1500 rpm for 30 seconds to make sure all of the air is out of the lines.

I'm no diesel expert, but it looks more like a 'throttle body" type injection. Doesn't appear to have' individual injectors... As previously mentioned, there is no primer pump on this coach, it has a single remote mounted filter.

You've got to be kidding....Cat has NEVER has a "throttle body injection system"....go to a professional and have him prime and start your engine...

If you can install shutoff valves on both lines at the fuel filter . Close both valves, install new filter full of fuel , open valves and away you go.
