I have a 2004 Fleetwood Hemlock which is a highwall with a slide out dinette. Lately the slide out dinette has been hard to close as if something is blocking it or stuck in the slide rail. I have been able to get it closed after a few attempts and slightly lifting the slide out as I push it in.
Any ideas? I have no idea how to get to the rails, but I know the water pump is in this same area somewhere. Appreciate any suggestions before I have to take it in for service.
In the front panel of the slide out there should be a panel with 4 screws. This gives access to the water pump and may let you see the slides and any obstructions.
After removing the four screws the panel is also secured by velcro, so it takes a little pulling to get it off.
Every once in a while, I too, have had to lift mine...but just at the end to close it....I'll be watching here to see what you find....mine is not a problem...yet.
