We have a 14" Porta-Bote with a 9hp Tohatsu motor. We put 4 adults in it and fish all day... When we want to go to another lake (in the Eastern Sierras) we just remove the motor and lay it in the boat and load the boat into the back of our truck fully assembled. We purchased it used off of Craigslist for $1000 with the motor and all the accesories. When folded we put it on the roof of our truck (with shell). One thing you have to remember with the Porta-Bote is you also have the seats, oars and motor to store too. We opted for the PB so we wouldn't have to bring a second vehicle to tow our old boat (a Bass Tracker). We are very happy with the boat. We don't intend to take it in the ocean nor do we expect to be white water rafting in it, but we have been in it when the water was getting rough and it held up great because it has flex to it.
Another option for storage would be to mount it under your 5er, I don't remember where I seen it done but I have seen someone that fabricated brackets that were welded under their trailer for their boat. Good luck in what ever you choose..

Thanks Tracey for your info,I think mounting it under the 5er would be the best way to go,Think i'll keep an eye on craigslist you got a great deal there. Thanks again.
Another vote for Porta Bote. We had a 12' Sea Eagle inflatable with a MinnKota 55# electric motor. The Sea Eagle had a rigid 2 piece floor and the process of inflating, inserting the two seats and rigid floor took about 1/2 hour + and was just too much trouble. Deflating, lifting and storing the Sea Eagle added more time. Finally, the Minn Kota moved the Sea Eagle at a VERY leisurely pace. When used on the Myakka River in FL, we were eyeball to eyeball with several large gators, and ducks were keeping pace with us.
We ended up selling the Sea Eagle and motor on Craigslist and found an 8' porta bote and 3.3 merc 2 stroke engine. Setting up the bote and hitching up the Merc took less than half the time. We carry the bote (fold to about 4-5") on the top rack of our Saturn wagon which is our towed car.
