If you are mainly a weekend camper, just throw sleeping bags on the bed. That way there is nothing to make up.

My first thought also...and the reason we changed trailers back when..
Beside making it, ever climb over one another in the middle of the night for a bathroom trip...lots of grumbling and growling...

We paid 10k for the TT in my sig earlier this year. It had been used twice. 30' long, super slide, rear living room, etc. I think there are better deals out there.

Personally I would offer no more than $6,000.00, most likely if it were me, I would say $5,500.00 max. Its the end of season, unit might sit a year or more. Note they won't take the deal right off, hold your ground. Lots more out there looking for a good home. Shop....

Yep, our first TT had the bed against the wall complete with the dreaded midnight trip to the bathroom crawlover scenario playing out many times. One of the must haves when shopping for our current TT was a walk around queen. I suppose if both of you are young and slender........... Might not be so bad to crawl over.

TJ,
Is this the first trailer you have purchased? So far, it looks like you want one that can be pulled by your Toyota Taco. I am assuming you have one of the Tacos that has the towing package installed. If so, this will be nearing the max capacity for the Tacoma.
Pricewise, I think the listed price is a tad high. Not a lot high. A number of people like to quote the NADA Guides but they forget to add the equipment that is included with the trailer.
The second issue is that the pictures are not good enough to tell the story of the trailer, or what the heck "certified" means. You really need to crawl under/over inspect the interior/exterior.
Your nose is the best water leak detector you have. Not only that, find out how long the trailer has been on the lot. If it has been on the lot for a while then it probably has been through some weather and is a good opportunity to look for leaks.
If you have a moment, tell us a little about your camping desires, etc. and see what we can help you with.

If you are trading it in to the dealer he will not give you anything for the additional equipment. So why would you pay extra for it on a used trailer when buying? Also in many instances what NADA lists as additional equipment is normally standard.

Had a similar situation 2 yrs ago. 18T6 Fleetwood, 2004, fine shape, wanted $8875 as I recall.
Offered $7200, they took it.
It was exactly what I wanted, so I paid the going rate. I don't regret it a bit!
The bed is no sweat. I got a new mattress, I just pull a corner up to hook a fitted sheet on it.
If it's what you want and in good shape, go for it.

I am not suggesting you pay NADA values, but rather know about the NADA numbers. Salesmen have quoted them to me in the past and if you are going to negotiate effectively you should know what they are...
