I am so sorry for your loss. I know as the days and weeks pass your happy memories of camping with Katie will bring smiles to your heart to replace the tears. She will always be in your heart until you see her again at the bridge.

Thanks again for all you wonderful pet people for your thoughts and love shown to us for Katie. One time she was up the road in the field chasing 4 deer, her feet did not even look like they were touching the ground.

One month ago our beautiful Irish Setter,Becky age 13, had to be euthanized. Our vet said something that really helped my family. He said leave her picture out and let yourself feel the pain of your loss when you look at it, but then make yourself think or look at a picture of a happy time you spent with her. It really does help us. I can tell you that there has been a lot of tears and a lot of laughs. She is the first thing we think about in the morning and the last thing we think about at night. We miss our companion so much, but we are trying to celebrate the good times. I hope this helps. I'm real sorry for your loss.
