I wish we had bats. I'd love to have a bat house with bats. I had a pet one two years ago but it died. It seemed to like being petted! It lived in the basement of a local cabin where I went nearly every week. Always had to go down and get reacquainted!

If we'd known that we could've saved it for you. When "The Great White Hunter" finally got home he trapped and released back into the wild. He followed directions I found online and it all went smoothly. I just want to know if there r any more in the house.

Brings bat memories of the bat phone ringing and the dynamic duo sliding down the bat pole to the bat cave to the bat mobile. Another slow evening. I'm just sitting here watching pizza cook through the window of the oven. Randu

One long day here too watching the second hand going round and round and round. Thank God I have a Flt fri lest I go stir crazy. Too many days like today and I'll figure out how to remove the rods and screws in my hip and leg myself or die trying.

The top ten symptoms of Cabin Fever.
10. You begin to believe that hell can freeze over.
9. The Ice and snow is so deep the kid who shovels your walk wants health insurance and a retirement plan.
8. You tell time by the sky - dark gray = morning; light gray is afternoon; and very dark gray is evening.
7. You realize that "family togetherness" is over rated.
6. You start to think that the Donner party didn't have it all that bad.
5. You train the dog to use the toilet so you don't have to take him out.
4. When you do try to take the dog out he refuses to go.
3. A "feel good sermon" at church is about the eternal lake of fire.
2. Your mind starts to cloud over and you forget your sons name - and he is named after you.
And the number one symptom of Cabin Fever is:
1. When you look in the mirror in the morning you realize that you have taken on a resemblance to Jack Nicholson in the shining.
Today is my personal best for most consecutive days alive.

Norman Cousins, in his book “Anatomy of an Illness,” describes how he cured himself of a debilitating disease through the use of humor. He reportedly watched old Marx Brothers movies and laughed uncontrollably. He believes his own laughter cured his disease. He subsequently lived a long and healthy life — well into his 80s!
