With the TAB Bank (affiliated with Flying J) debit card you get pump start, cash price and a 2 or 3 cent a gallon rebate. No upper limit as long as you have money in the account. I have pumped over $800 (two 150 gallon tanks)

Concur, flying J works fine and I'm a lot more comfy pulling 60+ ft into the truck lanes than a conventional station.

We stopped at Fred Meyer to fill up in Oregon. Saved 10 cents a gallon because DW had a FM card. Guy asked us how many times we wanted them to restart the pump. After three times, I had to change CC. Pumps shut off at $75. After all this "convenience" DW had to go out and stop traffic so I could back out from the pumps AFTER unhooking the toad. I compare that with going to Flying J where I pull up, DW inserts FF card and I pump. She goes in and pays ONCE with our PenFed card and we are on the road again. Like the Texan, I find it quick, easy and convenient. I don't mind paying a little extra for those. After all, if my server is fast, efficient and convenient, he/she gets a bigger tip.........JMHO.....YMMV...Dennis

Only commment I can make is this....just this week returned from an 8000 mile adventure, I normally look for Flying J's...not all are perfect for sure, but they did have the lowest price on diesel for the trip that I paid (3.56 a gallon) somewhere in SD or MN.

Hummm...swiping a card again must cost you what...about 10 seconds of your time?

I can only swipe two times. The motorhome takes 3. Then if I got the boat too, for get it. After the second time I have to call into my CC company. They wanna make sure my card is not stolen.

Many thanks Folks,

It seems we didn't understand their system and were totally unaware of the potential savings Flying J can bring. May have to read their website and give them another try!
