Have a good sunny day.
We Michiganders came down to south TX first of the year. Weather has been great until we started getting close to the rally. Must be the Injun doing some kind of unapproved dance.

Looks like the weather will change for the better tomorrow.
Looks even better when those from south of here start this way.
LBrandt I think I would like to be there in the high desert with you.
Hope to see you again sometime. Maybe someplace in South Dakota.
Hang in there Cliff. Better weather is on the way.

Bad weather will continue for the next 12 days unless proper tribute is paid. Leave huge bags of bangles and beads under that big rock just west of Nixon; otherwise me and my cousins are jist gonna keep on dancin'.
Don't call the cops or your mules and flamencos will suffer the ultimate...

OOOOOO Gray bump---PLEASE stay away from NIXON. You might run into some of those REDNECK TEXANS. I hear they SCALP um INJUN and hang the SCALP on the fence. This keeps other injuns away.

TNANCE led a group of mounted Nixonians against a Comanche raiding party a few years back. Before the raid, they called him "Bushy." Now, they call him "Baldy" for obvious reasons. Them ain't Injun scalps hanging on the fence.

Our motorhome is at the dealer having the roof radius replaced due to cracking so this afternoon I was updating my information and maintenance file. I ran across a calling card Gary must have given me about eight years ago when we first met Gary and Pat at Gettysburg. Looking back at those eastern trips reminds me just how fast time goes by.
We also met Larry and Ann Brandt at the first rally we attended at Branson. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with them one night and were the victim of what I think was one of his many practical jokes. We were able to connect last fall for another great meal and he got ahead of me on that one too.
If our health issues were just a little different right now we would have driven down for the rally. We will really miss seeing everyone but I do enjoy reading all the posts and look forward to seeing some pictures.

Ain't nuthin' wrong with Dick the Modernator's rig. He ain't comin' 'cuz he thought Indins were gonna be there and he's skeered of Indins. I called him when the British Bride and I were in Spokane, and he wouldn't come out then either.
Can't say as I blame him. Some of my cousins is real mean.

Figure we should make Kerrville before noon and the injun attacks start.
Oxen are all rested up. Ready to make the few hills between here and Buckhorn.

Thanks to the generosity of a few Sweetheart Rally folks, I have paid off my cousins and rain/thunder/snow/sleet dances have been cancelled and good weather dances started instead. I really appreciate all those bags of baubles and beads left under that rock. You guys at Buckthorn can look forward to weather in the high 60s/low 70s for the next seven or eight days.
Unless you make me mad again.
