We have a 2011 Winnebago Vista 35F and had my first experience with setting sun while driving. What is the best thing to use on the driver and passenger windows to block the sun while driving, also any hints for the windshield while driving would also be helpful a the visors don't seem to do a complete job on the windshield itself.

Thanks,

Nick

If your state allows it, tint the side windows. If not, you can certainly use the static cling stuff. If pulled over by LEO, I'm pretty certain he will just let you peel it off and be on your way.
As for the windshield, use a tint strip at the top.

You don't have roll/pull down shades on the side windows? You should have a real good look as they can hide real well.. My inlaws had them and didn't even know untill I pointed them out.

I use combination of draw down shades that attach with suction cups and have a push button retraction and static cling shades. Available at Walmart! As far as the windshield the bounder has an electric shade plus I have a sunshield add-on to the visor. I also found that a hat with brim works good. Good luck!

They make power sun shades that are available from many RV supply stores. These can be installed on both sides and with the touch of a button can be raised or lowered to any position to block the sun through the windshield or side windows. .

Due to a couple spots of skin cancer on my arms, I am sensitive to strong sun lite from the drivers side front. I cut the sleeve from a long sleeve knit shirt and simply slide it on when the sun exposure is severe to that side. DW has the other sleeve for use on her side when the sun lite is from that direction

I just went to Home Depot and had some old style roll up shades made to fit. Pull them down when there is sun and roll them up when there is none. Fot the front I just added an extension to the Factory visor.

We had the MCD Duo shades installed throughout the coach including the cabin. The ones on the windshield are electric and eliminate the need for sun visors.

You can see them HERE.

When I first got my motorhome I noticed the problem of the sun coming in from the side. I have an overhead cabinet above the side window so I went and got a beach towel and stuck it in the cabinet door and hung it down like a shade. Worked great. I later got a couple of the static cling shade panels and put them on the top of the window. I have them adjusted so when I look out the bottom of the panel is even with the horizon. So they don't block my view at all but they block the sun all the way down to the horizon. This solution is the cheapest of the ones you've received so far.
