I am leaving on a trip Buffalo to Tampa, where is the best place to purchase RV tires, price wise, along the way? Thanks in advance.

Check price at home first, I needed tires after I got to FL due to blowout os I called the place where I get my tires at home just to get an idea on price. Same tires where $50 more per tire in FL plus the blow out I had. Get your tires at home.

2X on that.
You know people at home & can work a price deal. When your on the road on a M/H & something happen, boy them people that want to help, all you can see is $$$$$$ signs in their eyes.

I learned a good lesson on the road, needed an extra tire for a spair, before pulling out was going to go get one,,, OH I'll get it when I get back home.
Had a blow out in Ill, took 3/4 of a day to get one at the stores other location just across town & cost me 3 times what the new one I was intending to get at home.
That aint never happened again, be dumb one time, but two times ??.

Thank you for your response. You have mentioned some very good reasons to purchase the tires at home, that is what I will do. Thanks again.....John.

I'm with everyone else, buy them at home. When they see your out of state plates and know you will not be a return cuustomer they will sock it to you. Don't ask how I know. Thats not to say I haven't gotten some great service but why chance it if you don't have to?

This doesn't make any sense. If you call a store for pricing the store doesn't have any idea you are from out of town.

One other thing you might want to think about is the cost of disposing of the old tires. There is in most states a cost added to the price of new tires that is the cost of getting rid of your old ones. When I needed new tires in FL they wanted $20 per tire to dispose of the old ones. I kept my tires and sold them for $25 each.
