I spent from roughly 2pm tuesday Nov 1st until this morning 11/3 at 6am at this KOA. First off, the folks running the place...well I only meet a young man, was very friendly and helpful. He met me in a golf cart as I pulled into an open unreserved spot, and he drove me up to the office to register and brought me back again, I thought that was very nice of him to do, simple things like this mean a lot to me anyway.
Price - Not to bad I think, full hookups with WiFi and cable(I didnt use this as I have DirectTv), and the water was on even thought the temps were approx 5 degrees with wind chill. ( They were all boxed in, and heat taped so I guess they must know how to deal with the cold)
It ran me $34.35 per night
Negatives -Right in the middle of a residential area, just a 2 strand wire fence around the back portion of the park, alley runs through the middle of the park with traffic all night long, and people wandering through the park from the residential area into the morning hours, loud partys going on in the houses next to the park with screaming and yelling till about 2am last night. Graffity on buildings right next to where I was parked in my TT that said...
"Original Baby Gangsta" and many more.
My stay was fine and I felt safe, just posting what I saw for others to make up their own minds.
Either we were lucky or you were unlucky. Stayed there back in June and saw none of what you encountered. Quiet place with no traffic around. No one but those in the park used the alleyway thru the park that I saw. And no one walking thru the park except those staying there.
