You will get good info from the OEMY site that was suggested earlier. He also has a WH chassis on his MH and has gotten together many difficult to locate parts that we can all use.

First off, thank you to all that replied with advice. The resolution ended up being new plugs (5 & 7 were cooked) and new wires, same cylinders. Supposedly these will not fall prey to the same problem as they have insulation to prevent the problem. I will be putting another 1200 miles on the coach over the next few days so we will see if they knew what they were talking about. If not, I will be installing the cooling kit.

If you have a misfire you milage should sink as well. Do you have a feel for what kind of milage you have been getting or is this the maiden voyage? Stop at an AutoZone Auto parts they will hook up a code reader for you for free. It should tell you what cylinder is mis firing . I just had that problem .

I would recommend this wire set to eliminate any future problems from spark plug wires. Taylor Extreme plug wires
Ditto. I had the same symptoms with my previous 8.1 and found #5 spark plug lead burned and arcing. Get some strong ignition wires.

Gosh
I sure hope you did replace all the spark-plugs and wires, not just 5&7.
