My condolences. She sounds like a person I would have liked to have known, and you sound like a son of whom she would be proud.

What I tell my kids/grandkids is traveling is continued education. Those that don't travel after their school years end tend to grow slowly or even stagnate. Sounds like your Mom earned her BA, Masters, PHD and, much much more.

Your Mom sounds like "a real character" - I'm sure she's in a heavenly kitchen cooking up a storm and telling her tales as always. Hang on to those wonderful memories of her - in time they will replace that feeling of loss. God Bless!

M... our condolences to you and your family. We will keep you in our thoughts. From what you wrote your Mom was a very special person, putting family first. It appears that you have done likewise.

Have a wonderful day..
