We have the vented combo unit which came in our RV. We thought that we would never use it. No we really like it but do understand the loads are small. It does take a while to dry so on pretty days we wash in the washer and dry on a rack outside. We now do a small load every day and never go to a wash room.

Siggyd is right. The condensed washer dryer combos are getting too hot especially on the top. We got one LG unit 2 years back, but we found a way to be satisfied with that. Even the heat is not a problem for us as we use it to finish the drying process when the clothes are still a little dampy.

The good news is that nowadays there's a lot of good units. I especially like the LG washer/dryer combos - their design is nice and modern. Does anybody have any experiences with them?

Your going to get alot of varying opinions here I am sure. My new coach came with a splendid wd vented combo. My coach is at the dealer right now having it removed and turning that space into a pantry. There was nothing wrong with the unit but I just didn't like that you could only wash 2 pairs of jeans and a couple of towels at a time. I could see where full timers might want the convenience but we have always used the camp facilities so we can get all the laundry done in an hour instead of running it all day, literally, to get the laundry done. Mine is brand new so if anyone wants one just let me know.

Yup - 5-6 loads washed, dried, hung and folded in 2 hrs and good for another 2-3 weeks.

From past posts many like their units. We don't disklike ours but just prefer to git her done.

Our machines are Whirlpool and it is one option, in hindsight, that I would not want to be without. We aren't full-timers but we are out traveling about quite a bit and you can't beat the convenience. While many campgrounds and resorts have very nice laundry facilities, I like having my own machines for the obvious reasons.

If I were fulltiming again I'd go the washer & dryer stacked set not the combo unit. The combo washer/dryer unit works fine but loads need to be small and to run the full wash and dry cycle takes a while. The set will of course take up more space but for me it would be worth it.

I would likely have to solo if we didn't have our combo. My wife loves it and it gets used, even if we're only doing a weekend gig.

We have a "LG3431HW". Are very happy with it. We full time and use it exclusively.

Some notable observations....being a direct drive, it is much quieter operating then the Splendide. It has a very high "spin' cycle, so it dries the clothes much faster then the Splendide. Most loads are dry within 30 minutes.
