The shower knobs in our trailer are super touchy. If we aren't bumping them then the shower head hose is. My husband tried to see if the front caps came off so that he could tighten them but if they do it's not very easily. Can the knobs be tightened or replaced? We are going to be living in out TT for awhile now and this is one annoyance that would be nice to fix. Thanks!

The H/C plates on my were removable by prying on them slightly, just like a home faucet.
Use caution to not break them if they are 'original'. When mine broke, I couldn't find replacements that fit, and ended up replacing entire faucet assembly

My husband was worried they would break so he didn't keep at it.

What do you mean "touchy"? Do they get loose or does the water temp change? Most knobs have a cover plate on the end that pops off, or a screw in the side to release the knob. Look for one of those. If the temp changes, open it up and change the washers, which may help especially on the hot side.

If you barely touch or bump them they move and the temp changes. same thing if the hose touches them. It doesn't take much to move them. Last night DH did get the face caps off and tightened them and they are a bit better. Felt like they "loosened" up again though once the water was on. He will try tightening them again with the water running to see if that makes a difference.
