My wife and I will celebrate our 25TH Anniversary in April and we won't be able to take the time to drive our MH. We want to fly to Myrtle Beach for 4-5 days. Which of the resorts/hotels would be a good place to stay on a relatively tight budget? I must still work and lost my 18 1/2 year employment and started a new job so I will not have any paid vacation time so I must take couple of unpaid days away. I know this is an RV site but not everybody takes their RV everywhere they go. We had plans for a longer trip but budget and work force a change.
THANKS!
Jim E.

During that time of year it wont be hard to find a good room right on the beach. Rent a car and you are good to go. Congrats on the 25 years! Last saturday we had our 20th.

If you could make it March you could easly stay for around 40-60 per nite ocean front.
We did this in Vir Beach a few years ago and had a ball for just a few bucks.

This time of year. Rooms are cheap at MB. As are condos. Much depends on what part you want to be in. Best Bet. Google Myrtle Beach. Click on accomodations. Pick your place.

You are talking around spring break time...while the rates won't be as high as they are during the summer, they will be higher than they are during the winter. What price range are you looking for? What part of MB do you want to be in? Some of the RV parks have rentals. If they are within your price range, then it might be a fun time. We have stayed in a couple hotels in MB. One that is called Monterey Bay Suites (more towards North MB) was ok. I think we paid $150-180/night summer time, but after Labor day it went down t oaround $100. But that was about 7 years ago. The latest place we stayed at was a newer place called Bay View Resort. We were able to get a 2 bedroom condo there in February for less than $100. I want to say less than $75. Both places right on the beach.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park has both villas and rental units if you want to try that. Otherwise my golf group uses Long Bay Resort on Ocean Drive. Can't give you prices as we make a package deal but the rooms have been very good.

We just took the family down for my wife's birthday. We really enjoyed this place. They have two buildings and a water park in each room. They also have a coffee shop, bar, and restaurant. We paid $59 a night with tax it was about 75 per night.

However their a ton of hotels in Myrtle Beach and you shouldn't have a problem finding something.
