Anybody out there have a Bullydog Tuner on there TV? I'm considering one for my truck and wanted to get some opinions before I invested in one.

What truck? Some tuners are better at some things than others. But unless you are prepared to upgrade other things a tuner can create lots of other problems with your drive train.

I had one for my TV (Dodge Cummins 2006). It was far less than impressive so I returned it. I hope to get a Banks 6-position tuner someday and see how those do. I like the adjustable knob and hope I can feel a difference (unlike the BD where I noticed zero difference)

If it's a diesel then you'll see an improvement. Any numbers given by a manufacturer are usually based on having a CAI and exhaust system.
Depending on the truck there'll be limits on what the rest of the drivetrain can handle. Dodge auto's can't handle much more than 425hp. Allison can take quite a bit, don't know about Ford. If you are running a higher hp fueling and towing then it's wise to have an EGT probe/gauge.

If you don't change, the air in/ air out system also... save your money on a tuner.

You have the PSD 6.0 ?
If so just let it be.
Ford already has about as much tune as she'll take IMO.

^^I agree with all of this except the Dodge trannies part. 2004 and earlier were a bit of an issue but the newer units can handle 800+ torque without modification and they hold up really well. And torque is the real issue with towing and drivetrain parts IMHO. Now if I could have my RAM exactly as is (Frame, Cummins, etc, but subsitute an Allison tranny? I'd do it in a heartbeat.

^^^Good point. Diesel's are even more responsive to better breathing than gas units. And the tuner is mostly about timing and adding fuel. Without intake and exhaust improvements it's not nearly as effective and your exhaust temps could get into the scarry range.
