Hello and thanks for looking at my thread. I’m would like to replace the queen short in my rv. With the mattress I have now I’m only able to sleep about 4 to 5 hours then I get up with lower back pain. I have a nice bed at home and I sleep like a baby on that bed so I don’t mind spending extra money on a good mattress.. any suggestions would be deeply appreciated

There are memory foam mattress toppers for a little over $100 that work great. I have one in my MH.

We went to a local mattress factory looking for a RV size mattress, and they made one for us. We just picked the style and firmness we wanted, and they just made one to fit. Seemed to be no problem, and there was no additional charge. Also, they installed extra edge support on the end that gets a log of sitting. Check your local area.

I bought my memory foam topper from Sam's. It was a full size queen for $99 plus tax. I just took an electric carving knife and cut it to size. About 3" thick and works fine on top of the cheapo RV mattress.

Its time for a Sleep Number tried all the others and none worked compared to the Sleep Number... We have the Sleep Number in the Mobile Suites, a factory option.. We had 5 other 5th wheels and all had the cheap RV type mattress and tried all types of add ons and nothing worked.. Happy Trails....
