My new Moho is parked in from of my house and we've got high wind warnings, 60+ mph. The moho is rockin and not in the good way so I powered it up and dropped the levelers. State of emergency declared everywhere. A lot of it is due to a huge fire that burned 20 homes.

Can you just leave the area? Maybe take the RV out of county, and park it at a Walmart or something, for the day/night?

Do they expect higher winds? A little rocking may not be good, but it's also probably not going to tip over either. Might be good, if you can park it next to a flat-sided building, so as to buffer any winds that might effect it in the open.

good Luck

Too windy for me to drive it. It is fairly level but the levelers equalized the Moho. It's no longer rocking. I didn't have the time to take it Rv storage yesterday where it would be parked between a similar size A and shorter C.

Winds are not expected to get stronger. Luckily no nearby big trees to fall on Moho or the house.

"Might be good, if you can park it next to a flat-sided building, so as to buffer any winds that might effect it in the open".......

That's what I would do........block some of that wind. Otherwise....pull out your MH Ins. Policy and read the fine print.....just in case!

Should be fine as long as you aren't in front of the fire. Looks horrible there. Good luck.

If the wind is directional it will help to line it up with the wind, of possible.

I realize that it rocks less with the levelers down however the manual for our HR recommends against using them in very high winds to prevent damage to the system.

You might want to verify the manual for your unit.

Nose it into the wind, no different than driving at 60mph

Nose or rear end into the wind if possible is the best immediate remedy. Jacks down is iffy. Lot of stress on mounts.
