We take bottled water for drinking and cooking. We do use a filter when we fill up at locations. Water is for toilet, showers and washing hands and dishes. No problems since we've been doing it, years now.

Unless you call the 1"X1" lump on my thigh a problem

Same here less the lump or tumor....I never drink the fresh tank water regardless if i fill it up at home or where ever, we buy gallon jugs for coffee and cooking, bottled for drinking.

Vodka for sanitizing...

Dosnt the filter remove the chlorine? the chlorine keeps the bad stuff from growing

Lets see, clorine in the water at the Flying Jay in the high desert or the two gas stations on hwy 86 on the way to OW.

I'm thinking,,,,,,,,,,,,no.

You could also try to get water/dump at Pyramid Lake RV resort or Los Alamos Campground near Pyramid Lake. Both are off of Smokey Bear road. Not too far from Gorman exit.

CW in Valencia is good to dump but don't go near the water. It gets pretty narly there.

Thought I learned my lesson a few years ago but decided to take my little one for a dad/daughter weekend a few weeks back and was sorely disappointed. Worst part was I wasn't packing anything in case some meth'd out freak tried to take my toys .
