Better than hand cranking any day!

actually i prefer the hand crank, sorta.i use an 18v drill/adapter and only take the camper on/off once per year.if i took it on/off after each trip i might prefer the electic but i doubt it as i see them as another unreliable, expensive option, but thats just me.YMMV

I agree it is definitely better than hand cranking. (I put it on and take it off the truck regularly)

MBGuy, mine has done that too. Only a couple of times the left side has come up first.

These little quirks are why I make sure that NO ONE (including me) is standing near the camper when it is extending up, up, or coming down. Just to be on the safe side.

My 1181 has done this since new. The right rear is the laziest jack. It's always falling behind the other 3.

I've gotten used to it and adjust with my button pushing.

These forums are no place for any political discussion or bashing. Besides, everyone knows it's Bush's fault, Obama said so and why would he lie.
