Topsail on the Gulf with 4 other buses to cook lots of turkey and gumbo along with a few beers. We are all locals and it is a great place to meet and use little fuel.
Right now we are in Van Horn TX and in order to get to our spot we have 95i miles to go (plus any stops for gas, etc.) and hope to be home in Eagle Rock on Wednesday. It's been over 10K miles and two months since we left and having the youngest daughter cook dinner for us sounds great. Oh yeah, seeing the DGKs sounds good too.

We used to live in Oregon - our favorite place to go for Thanksgiving was Silver Falls State Park - check it out. They have (had) a wonderful all-you-can-eat T-Day dinner at the lodge - all great food (bring your own wine/beer if you want something alcoholic) and everyone has always been very friendly. Then the next day, take the 7-mile RT loop hike to all the waterfalls. We went 3 or 4 times and always enjoyed ourselves.
I thought at one time they did that at Garner SP, TX. Also a family used to fix Thanksgiving for people driving on I-10 at Kerrville. It was setup on both sides of the interstate.
Heading for Terrible's RV Park and Casino in Pahrump, NV. Meeting a friend there for the weekend. Turkey and all the fixings in the coach and rest of the weekend leftovers and wandering around Death Valley. Maybe Prime Rib Buffet on Saturday night in the casino.
