Over a year ago I read about a park, pretty close to the middle of Florida, which had gobs of daily activities, something I'm looking for in a relatively long-term park. Seems like their web page had page after page of different categories of daily activities. Can anybody refresh my memory?

thanks-

dave

You need to narrow this down alittle. There are lots of RV parks near the middle of Florida that have lots of things going on.

Hmmm. Was afraid you'd say that. I'll recognize the page when I see it. Or, how about suggestions? I'd like a park with activities scheduled from morning 'til night....

If you can think of specific activities it might help-
Were they family-type things, or more oldster stuff???

For example, I googled "Bridge games" with "Florida RV parks" and came up with several hits, among them this one in Lake Placid, Florida, which lists lots of activities for senior type RVers...
Sunshine RV Resort

As a matter of fact, it's just about smack dab in the middle of Florida-
Could that be the one you're looking for?

Might that have been Fort Wilderness? Not cheap, but many activities, and you can stay as long as you can afford.

You could be talking about Sun N Fun in Sarasota. Go to the Lifestyles page and then click on "download the lifestyle menu" at the bottom of the page. 16 pages of activities. Arts & Crafts, Cards, Dance, Exercise, Music, Religion, Sports, and Live Entertainment.
If you go, follow the directions on the web site. Streets and Trips software keeps moving it closer and closer to the Gulf, 'cause the government's GPS coordinates are wrong.

Found it! Holiday Travel Resort in Leesburg. Anyone have any experience with them? Checked rvparkreviews and the reviews weren't glowing, but they did acknowledge that there were lots of activities.

And, I'm open to suggestions. Looking for a *nice* park, with lots of activities. Cost isn't as big a concern as quality and activities. We have a big rig.

Suggestions please?!?

dave
