It is, sadly enough, a sign of the times. If half a dozen people out of 10,000 have asthma, the other 9,994 MUST do whatever is necessary to accommodate them.
Approximately 1% of the population of the United States is allergic to peanuts; therefore, no peanut products may be served in school lunchrooms, and all products that are processed in the same factories as peanuts must have an allergy warning on them!
Personally, I am waiting for defective color perception to be recognized as the disability that it is, and having ALL color coding outlawed! It would make life MUCH easier for me and others like me.
Then, I want ANY product that is made for right handed people to be made for lefties, too. Yes, I want left-handed monkey wrenches!
But, I'm not gonna cry and complain about it, nor am I gonna file any lawsuits citing the ADA.
