Does anyone have experience with the FZ 300? To me, it seems like the best bumper pull toy hauler available. I need a separate master bedroom, and a separated garage.
Any others I should look at? Anyone know if the new "monster package" will be used in the 300??
Pros and cons of this particular trailer?
THANKS

I dont have any experience with the trailer, but we walked through one this Summer and if we were to go to a TT, that 300 would be the one. Hands down the best TH TT layout I have seen.

Since it only has 2-axles, I would be concerned about actual payload capacity.

I absolutely love the FZ300 layout. I would trade my WW in a heartbeat if the price would drop $15-20. I can't believe the MSRP is $48k or more for this rig...you could get a nice 5th wheel for this price. Nonetheless, this model will certainly be a contender when we're back in the market.

Holmans has one on the lot priced with $38K crossed out for a sale price so i bet it would sell in the mid30's.

I asked for a quote on that one and it was low30's......wish I could convince my DW to sell our TT for it....sigh.

This trailer has 1300 pounds of capacity available.
With a pair of 6K axles, 8500lb dry weight, and what ends up on the tongue, that leaves plenty of payload.
More than I would want wagging around behind my class 5 hitch.....Glad to see these guys trying to accommodate every need.

Don't own a Fuzion but I do own a long bumper pull trailer. I can tell you that they are very easy to tow as long as you get the weight set in the trailer correctly. Too much on the nose makes them very wiggly. Even something as simple as 10 gallons of water and/or a cooler at the very back can offset that problem if you are without toys.
Interesting thing happens when the wind blows from the side when towing. Because there is more trailer in front of the axles than behind them it actually pushes the rear of your truck with the wind, causing the nose of the truck to turn into the wind. Basically self corrects the wind push. Using a strong anti-sway bar (or dual bars) helps keep any wag from happening.
No problems towing with my 3/4 ton but IMHO you will be unhappy if you don't have a diesel. They pull the weight much easier and most newer ones have some form of hill descent control (engine braking / exhaust brake) that will save the truck and trailer brakes.
Good luck with the decision!
