We purchased some gutters and use those to hold the sewer hose when hooked-up ~ easy, lightweight and inexpensive.
Happy Travels!

What works the best......hummmmmmmmmm
Having someone else do the dumping.
Just what are you looking for.....'best'?
Best procedure? Dump a little grey 1st to test then dump black followed by remaining grey.
Best place to dump? At campsite, CG dump station, dump station on way home, at home
Best hose? I like ones that collapse and have fittings that turn independent of hose
Best connections? For sewer/90* elbow with multiple sized threads. For end of drain line/clear 45* elbow

Can you be more specific, so we don't just all try to guess what it is you're getting at?

Like everything about RVing It all depends. It depends on what type of Rving you do. Where you will be staying where you’re Rv will be parked. How you are going to use your Rig. Some here on the board will talk to you about different systems. Some use a macerator pump. Some electric, some not, some portable some permanent. They will talk about stinky slinky’s and eve troughs. The only thing I would tell you being new to this Rv thing is to not get cheap. If you are going to use the 3” hose that’s good but get the best that money will buy. If you go macerator, have it installed by someone that knows them.
Good luck and if you have specific questions don’t hesitate to ask.

I meant hose, elbows, clear view. Im sure some are junky and some are better. Im looking for a nice quality setup, as I like to do it right the first time. I hate buying something to find out for a few bucks more, this would have worked better.
Is the macerator worth the money?
Thanks all.

Buy the best quality hose you can find. Macerators are more suited for dry camping.

The cheap ole hose I bought in 2000 is still in use today. Never thought my $&!# needed to travel in luxury on it's way to the hole in the ground.
