I haven't had much success in determining what the difference is between a Winnebago Minnie and Minnie Winnie. There has to be a difference, other than size, because in the NADA price references there is a distinction. Since I've gotten such solid information here on other subjects, I'm hoping this can finally be cleared up for me. THANKS!

That's funny...I own a Minnie Winnie (29B) and I don't know what the difference is.
Maybe someone can clue us in.

Basement storage is the biggest difference, same as Itasca Spirit/Sundancer when I bought. Minnie Winnie and Sundancer have much more.

yeah, it looks like basement storage is the biggest difference. our Minnie has storage that is about one foot tall. the Minnie Winnie looks to be about 50% taller. also, only one pass-through compartment on the Minnie. Dont know about the M/W.

We had a Minnie Winne back in '95. If I recall there was a DL designation put to it. Could your answer to the difference be in what equipment and options were included?

You can go to the Winnebago website and view/download the original brochures for various years and models. This will give you the features and capacities on each model.

Winnebago's Class C's have had a 200 series designation and a 300 series designation. The 300 series is more "upscale" if you will. I believe that distinction was the basic foundation for the naming difference back then - I don't recall exactly which was which, but I believe there was a series change and that prompted the name change. More recently, the Access is the 200 series and the Outlook (discontinued recently) was built as a 300 series.

we have the minnie winnie and i can vouch for extras that really make an efficient and comfortable little cabin. there is indeed a lot of basement storage (probably more than we could fill and carry under designated weight). one pass-through, but the other basement compartments are roomy and easy to pack (too easy). love our winnie!

I believe ScottMack has it about right:

We have a 2005 324V 24 foot Itasca full sized Class C, that Winnebago quit offering in 2006. For instance - if you consider a crowned roof as more costly to produce - it has a crowned roof that Winnebago's newest Access (Winnebago) and newest Impulse (Itasca) 24 foot 24V full sized Class C motorhomes do not appear in photos to have.

You have to look hard, if it's there at all, to see any reference to a "200" or "300" series in Winnebago's literature. My sales paperwork did call ours a "324V", but I see only "24V" mentioned by Winnebago now.

The Minnie was a 300 series, the Minnie Winnie was a 200 series if memory serves.

Winnebago is responsive though, so I would call them at the phone number listed on their website. I bet they would research it and tell you. If you do, let us know what they say.
