Can the general public go in to see the new RV's and equipment?

According to the RVIA website it is closed to the public. The only RVIA RV show that is open to the public is the Pomona CA show.
From their press release:
Quote: The National RV Trade Show is expected to draw 8,500 RV dealers, warehouse distributors, accessory store owners, campground operators and exhibitors.

Gald you got the info BEFORE you headed over. I happened on that site when I was looking at the Pomona show. I was surprised to learn that there are only two RVIA manufacturer's RV shows, and only ONE is open to the public.
The show in Louisville is all over the local news here. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar was in town and was gushing about the RV business being an indicator of an upswing in the economy. He did seem very surprised at the number of manufactuers and different models of RVs and mentioned that they were manufactured in the USA. He also said there was an increase in the number being exported to China.
I wish this show was open to the public! It seems like they could have the super-secret-dealer-show then open it up for us peons. The used to be huge RV show in Feb has shrunk over the past few years although I think last year's was a bit bigger than the year before.
I've been to the show a couple of times and this is when dealers place there orders... would be a good idea to open to the public but Louisville has an RVshow in February..

Agreed, if it was open to the public I would go. I hear about it every year on the news and see the RVs sitting outside the convention center if I drive by.
will have to wait two more months for the Louisville boat and RV show 25 - 29 Jan.
I went to the Louisville show on Tuesday. The RVIA gave me a media credential since I blog about small trailers. Who knew?
I've got some pics up on my Flickr site, but they're mainly those of smaller stuff....no motorhomes, fivers, or larger TTs, with the exception of a few I was interested in. Nonetheless, enjoy! http://www.flickr.com/photos/11019355@N03/sets/72157628213865571/
