Can anyone recommend an electric trailer mover? I have a boat trailer I need to move in and out of the garage and I can't make the turn with the truck. Not enough room. I have been looking into these a little, but would like to hear how they really work from people that have used them.

Used lawn mower (small tractor type) with a ball on the rear. Use the trailer jack wheel to help with weight if needed. Or a new quad, you could always go riding to justify the purchase.
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill because they pissed me off.

Can you tell us more about your boat i.e. tongue weight? My Rockwood TT is 900# on the tongue so a Small lawnmower would be out of the question IMHO. My MacGreggor 26X was only 300#; better, but I would not try it if the tongue jack was even the least bit extended for fear of bending the jack.

Hi Nunyadamn,
We have and use a Power Caster PC2 to move our trailer. Moves it effortlessly and into a parking spot our truck can't even get into without the trailer.

My neighbor has one of these and it works very well to move his car hauler around his driveway.

I have a mobility scooter I have considered taking the seat off & putting a 2" ball in its place for moving trailers. I don't have batteries for it now so haven't pursued it yet and don't know how well it would work.

I got mine from http://www.powermoverinc.net - the AC10 model. It makes it much easier to get my camper to the backyard, and I can get both that and the boat into the backyard - would never be able to do that with the truck.
I wish it had a higher speed for moving without a load - it seems to take forever to move it empty. The only times I have problems is if we haven't had rain in awhile, or we've had too much rain recently, as it can bog down. Usually if I get the wife or one of my sons to help push (they push either against the boat or the trailer), it still gets through okay.

With the cost of these things you're going to find it hard to justify unless you use the boat EVERY weekend.
I have a situation where I put my 7x14 utility trailer in the back corner of my barn for winter storage. In the spring I need to get it back out.
Normally I use a Farmall Cub to do the maneuvering, but it's stressful and tedious because I can't see around the trailer. I have to get on and off several times. Usually I end up pushing the tractor by hand.
One of these power movers would be ideal, but for the once a year, I can't justify the expense.
