AZ99, sent you a PM.
No plug or connectors, just a wire bundle to be connected to the controller. It is under the dash, in the area above the throttle.

This thread seems to have died. I am now an Embark owner and am looking forward to seeing the different ways other owners have installed their TV receivers.
Has anyone done this yet?? Esp. want to hear from AZ99 who doesn't seem too happy with his Embark. I too have been having some quality issues.
So far I have installed a CB, an ARB freezer and had 660 watts of solar installed with a controller and new 2000 watt inverter including a 100 amp charger. Had the inverter wired in to all 110 except the AC, although they forgot the awning and wind sensor.
Would like to see anyone with an Embark post up their trials, tribulations and/or upgrades.
Thank you
Rich

I cut holes in the back of the too short overhead cabinets to fit the sat receiver HD DVR and a REAL DVD player. It is only 1/8" lauan and cuts easily with a knife. There is about 3" of clearance behind them.
I also ran HDMI cables to all the HD TV's. And mounted 2 switched receptacles behind the TV for all the components so no cords or cables are on the shelves.
Installed a Winegard Trav'ler DirecTV dish with SWM.
I removed the 40" TV in the bedroom and replaced it with a 32" and machined a pivoting mount on top of the electric pop up mount so you can actually see it from the bed.
I installed a Sensar Pro for the OTA antenna. Total waste of time and $.
Rewired the awning to work on the inverter and added another inverter receptacle behind the chair. Mine had no receptacles wired to the inverter except the microwave and TV's. Added an outside inverter receptacle also. Caution- The wiring of the inverter in the distribution panel is very different from standard in home service panel wiring. And of course poorly marked.
I installed an opening window in the rear for bedroom ventilation.
I also fixed about 100 things the totally careless "Amish Craftsmen" didn't feel were worth doing correctly.
The truck drives great and the paint job is awesome.

Thank you for your response.
I agree the rig drives great and has an awesome paint job. I get many compliments on how great this MH looks. It has many great qualities and a few not so great.
I am preparing for a two month trip leaving May 31 so some of my issues will not be addressed until I return but the TVs, receiver and bedroom window are high on my list.
I would appreciate any info or pics on the changes you made that you care to share, especially the receiver and window install. I have the model QX390 so just the smaller TV in the bedroom which I have not even watched yet. I do need to install the Direct TV receiver and a DVD player before I leave and get behind the main TV to add cables and secure them as I must have loose cables behind the TV which constantly thump as I go down the road. I will not be able to put up with that for this 5 or 6 thousand mile trip.
Let me know if you are ever out Arizona way and maybe we can get together and compare notes. My email is overgaard@live.com if you want to contact me.

I don't know about the newer models but mine has just enough depth (about 10" in the lower shelf & less on the 2nd shelf)in the overhead cabinent to hold the basic DirecTV receiver.
You would think that an MH with this much towing capacity would have a trailer brake already installed...
I've had mine 9 months, bought it with 14k miles & the generator not even broke in yet. It's my 1st MH as I traded a 26ft travel trailer that I had for a couple years. I've put 10k miles on the beast & had my fair share of minor issues so far that I'll list below:
1. 1st week I bought it (no fuel door key or owners manuals aside from the cab/chassis/engine, large slide malfunctioned & needed reprogrammed, wind sensor non functional on awning.
2. Sensor on door that actuates the electric steps broke off
3. Shower head refuses to stay in place
4. microwave turntable lept out & broke in transit
5. Privacy doors at bath & bed rattle, open/close in transit (used curtain rods to prop them open for transit only to have one come completely off its guide rail.
6. The entertainment (all audio/video related) has been diffuclt to figure out (again no owners manuals)
7. Shore power / generator power transfer switch must be out because suddenly the generator isnt getting power to anything.
8. Yesterday I must've fried the slide controller for the big slide that has always been a pain from day one.
I realize much of this is self inflicted or typical rv minor maintenance issues. Maybe I had unreal expectations after forking out $$$$
All in all tho I love the power & dependability of the cab/chassis/powertrain & the looks I get. I imagine there's been some improvements from 2009 to 2012

The 2012 manual is a joke. It is very generic. It covers all the mandated safety items and legal disclaimers very thoroughly though.
You may be better off going to the manufacture's website of any component you have a question about. Or ask here.
Fortunately for me, I owned other MHs before, so most of the stuff is not new. But I do feel sorry for a 1st time owner as it is overwhelming.

This is the first I've seen these-what a sweet unit! Just got rid of our Endura (being RVless will probably only last a few years) and thought I'd take a peek and see what's happening in this world. What a pleasant surprise!

8. Yesterday I must've fried the slide controller for the big slide that has always been a pain from day one.
I had this happen to our Embark last week. The slide control was flashing an error code. I unscrewed the slide control from the panel and pushed the reset button on the back of the control and the slide functioned normally after that.
