Looking at one of these lightly used. Will be new to a 5th wheel camper/toy hauler.
Anyone with this model or other HR in the 2006 model year willing to share experience? Does this unit have the dreaded frame crack issues?
Thanks for all responses

Have an 06 Dune Chaser 38cks. Same basic trailer. I love it! Had an 04 WW fs30 that fell apart before this trailer.

I reinforced the bracing on water/grey and black tanks. Didnt have a problem with them but didnt want one either. Raised the trailer 3" to accomidate 16" HD tires.

Not one problem and I use it alot all year long.

Have a good friend with the same trailer, maybe a year older, not sure. He beats the******out of it and it's served him quite well. Holiday rambler builds a pretty stout unit.

Just realise the HR is out of (the trailer) business so parts and support may be lacking.

You can get parts though Monoco (bought out HR). I just ordered fenders for an '04 HR Next Level. No complaints with the Next Level here.

I have a HR 2008 38CKS and love it. Compared to my former WW, this is a luxury unit. Incredibly well built and solid. I pull it to some pretty remote places and it has held up very well. Everything works every time (except a spider web in the water heater ignition this summer). That was a quick repair though. Everything about it is so well made.

Here's a video of it in action. Sorry to those who have seen this video a couple of times...
