I am new to rving. I purchased a 07 gulf stream 38 ft sun voyager and my question is why when I fill the fresh water tank up and travel it fills up the black water tank before we use it. Also the heat does not keep motor home warm with generator running. What am I doing wrong. The system shows 2/3 propane. Cool air comes out but not hot. Any help will be appreciated.

If the black tank is filling while you are travelling then I would think the water valve for the toilet is leaking. When we travel we turn the water pump off. Once going over some badly washboarded roads the tap in the kitchen opened a bit and I could not hear the pump or anything until the water filled the sink and overflowed. Best is to probably turn the pump off and open a sink tap to release the built up pressure in the water lines.
When you are driving you should not need the generator running. The Furnace runs on 12v for the board and fan and engine should supply enough when it is running. While driving maybe the pilot gets blown out and does not produce any heat. Windchill will also come into play. When you are driving at highway speeds it will feel a lot colder than at slower speeds. same thing as standing outside with either wind or no wind. Here the other night we got down to -20c but with the windchill it feels like -33c (at -35 ish the temps are the same for both c or f) If the furnace is running close to capacity it may not be able to heat enough. Burner may not be burning right too which means again that it will not make enough heat. During the summer and lots of heat and winter with the cold we generally will hang a blanket behind the driver and pass seats so it either has to heat or cool a much smaller space. Once stopped we can run our big buddy propane heater to heat the rest of the MH up in a hurry.

Thanks I will try the water pump suggestion. I did turn water pump on for wife at a stop and didnt turn it back off.
As for heatting, I didnt run generator while driving, we parked turned generator on and it just felt like it kept getting colder and colder so I turned off and started MH and we were fine. I wanted to turn off and try again but didn't want to freeze my .... Off (lol). I will maybe try when I get back home. Thanks for your help.

As was said, I believe that the toilet water valve is leaking. That would be the first thing to check. Did you also have the problem when hooked to city water?
It also sounds like the furnace never fired. The fan will run and blow cold air. First, light a stove burner to make sure you have gas flow. If yes, then you'll be into diagnosing a furnace problem.

Only if you stick part of your body outside the vehicle.

"Windchill" does not have the same effect on inanimate objects as it does on the human body. While driving down the road will increase the rate at which metal, wood or fiberglass will loose it's heat, the object will not get(or feel) any colder then the actual ambient temperature.

If you aren't careful to "bleed" the propane lines after a spell with the propane turned off at the tank(s), you are likely that stove, frig, and furnace will all fail to light until the lines actually have propane in 'em. It seems that even the tightest gas lines will lose gas and gain air over time.
Every time I use the TT, I first turn on the gas at the tanks, then turn on the gas at the stove and stick a match in it to light. It usually takes a couple minutes for enough gas to flow to where the burner will light. After I do that, the frig and furnace usually only take one "extra" cycle to light, but if I don't they will both try to light and fail several times, before coming up in an error condition.

We have discussed this a number of times already. It ain't AIR in the lines, it's low pressure propane, that will not ignite

Ok it's not igniting. How do I fix it. It's getting propane.

And the furnaces are on the side of the unit and I can't see how to get to the igniter
