When I bought my Lance 10.11 camper to put on my 3/4 ton Dodge truck, I asked on this forum about the wisdom of doing so. I was met with skepticism and woe's. Well I made what I think were the required changes, and everything works fine. My changes were Firestone airbags, Rancho 9000 series shocks, a Helwig heavy duty sway bar, a set of heavy duty rated at 3450lb. each, and a set of Dodge 4 wheel drive steel wheels. As I said before the rig works real good. I do keep my speed to 65 or less. (It was necessary to do that with my trailer). I realize that I could have a problem, but that whould be the case with any RV. I just wanted to state that I got it to work. And had no problems so far.
I carry 4000 lbs on my F350SRW pickup, but I have a lot of money into modifications to make it carry that weight sucessfully. The brakes are overmatched though, which is why I now have a dually that will be carrying that weight instead of the single wheel truck.
