Has anyone purchased an OEM swivel seat base from Discountvantruck.com for there 07+ E450 high back passenger seat?
Wanted to know how well it works?
If there is any play in the seat while traveling?
Or any other likes or dislikes?
Thanks in advance, Dave

Had one. Worked fine for me. Big problem is moving the seat back and forth to make it swivel.
Easy to install too.

The main reason the C does not come with swivel seats someone might sit side ways and not all the way around is if AIR BAG is set off ya will get hurt badly!!!!!!! If you do swivel just always have seat facinf forward when traveling!!! Good luck rvtommy

Thanks to all, sounds like swiveling the seat is more trouble than its worth.

My MH has swivel seats in the cab but doesn't have air-bags. I replaced the original E350 seats with nice leather power seats from a 2005 Expedition. Now they sit so high that I can barely reach the pedals. Getting into the cab is almost like climbing into a semi
So I now have to cut 3" from the center of the 6" pedestals and have them welded back together unless I can find something in the junk yard.

Does any company make an Air ride seat base for the E-350 and 450?

I have the DV&T swivel base in my '07 e450 and love it. It's not that much trouble to swivel and adds a comfortable seat to the living area.

Just ordered swivel base for our 2010 Itasca Cambria 30C. I was told by DV&T that the install is very simple and start to finish should not exceed one hour. I did have to purchase a 65mm Star wrench in order to remove the front bolts on the bracket base. Will keep you posted as to how long it took to install and the actual difficulty in doing the job.

I have an '07, & I don't see how you could make it work, if you slide it back to clear the dog house, the back hits the dinette back, & swiveling in it's present location would hit the drivers door? Just not enough clearence all the way around to swivel it.
