So I currently have a cedar creek 36l5s camper ie 39' long and 5 slides. We looked at 3950 voltage this last weekend and really liked it what are your thoughts on the quality of the voltage compared to the CC. Have any of you went from a quad bunkhouse to a toy hauler? We have no toys to bring with and always stay somewhere they have full hook up but want a camper with some more room than what we have any input is welcome but please dont turn this into a bash. thanks

We like our 3950. Don't know how it compares to yours.

Quality probably leans more to the Voltage over the CC, but you really won't get more room at all. Same length and the CC has more slides creating more sqft.

We went from a Crossroads Cruiser quad bunkhouse to our Voltage 3795. The kids definitely have more floor space in the garage to spread out. However, there is NO cabinet/drawer/closet space for the kids gear. So we will have to put something in the garage, not sure what, though. The beds in the Voltage are comfier than the beds in the Cruiser were, too. And bigger, of course.

Quality wise... Honestly I think the Voltage and our Crossroads are about the same. Quality control wise, the Crossroads came from the factory with ZERO issues, while the Voltage... BUT - Voltage customer service, and our local dealership have been spectacular to work with.

Another issue to consider is weight. Not sure what your CC weighs, but the Voltages are heavy... Fuel cost and pin weight are things to consider.

We went from a 39' CC bunkhouse to a toyhauler and the main thing we noticed when looking is the toyhaulers have fewer drawers and cabinets for general family items. The bunkhouse is what I would call much more "residential". The toyhauler is much roomier and versatile. We use the garage for the toys when traveling and living space when parked. Quality wise, IMO the Voltages we looked at were a half step down from our old CC. The decor of the Voltage was very nice but a closer look revealed fit and finish issues. Some things looked like they were done cheaply.

What is up with the new Voltage "V Series"? Looked like a cheapened up regular Voltage. No slam latches, no dual fuel tanks and a few other things. It was the new 3005.

I also have a (2012)3795, I have had only a few small issues that were quickly dealt with by both Dutchmen and my dealer. I have found there customer service to be great for my issues.

I think the "V" is the technical model name. I have what the dealer refers to as a Voltage 3905 Epic, however some of the documentation that came with the trailer from the factory refer to it as a V3905.

The 3005 is a newer model lower options competing against some other trailers on the market from what I can tell.

Cedar Creek makes a top end unit and the construction is some of the best in the industry. Cedar Creek also has excellent factory support. IMHO, the Voltage will not be on par quality wise to the Cedar Creek. The Voltage seems to have many owners who have experienced the growing pains Dutchmen has been going through with the Voltage.
