In my neck of the woods it is usually about 10-20 cents below the local regular gasoline price.

Is the varying cost of propane relative to the cost of gas/diesel at the pump? Or ... is it a stand alone commodity? Never been able to understand why it has it's highs & lows !!!

I just paid 1.75 per gallon at Halter Gas company in Oran Mo. If you have a local gas company that sells propane, they will fill your tanks a lot cheaper than RV suppliers.

I've noticed quite a spread in Colorado, all within the state. Seasonal variation as well. Bulk propane gets quite expensive in the fall/winter, and goes down in the spring, here in Colo. anyway.

The 'bottle exchange' prices seem to be more 'fixed', however.

Has anybody but me experienced issues with the OPD valving?
