How many of you carry motorcycle on the back of class C? I was wondering what is the best motorcycle (lightweight) for this?

We towed a 600+ pound touring bike on a trailer behind a Class C, worked great. Left little 250cc home, it was too small for two people anyway.

Since most Class C's are really rear heavy, you may want to consider carrying it on the front. I use a receiver mounted carrier to take bikes up to 650. It's actually a double carrier, so it has to have lights. But it does not block driver's vision at all, and the driving lights on the rack fill in the shadows cast by the wheels.

Are you a COG member? My husband also rides a Connie and I ride a Suzuki Boulevard.

We have a 7'x12" enclosed trailer set up to pull behind our Class C.

Are you trying to prevent pulling a trailer? If you are going to use a hitch mounted rack you should start out by getting all the required weights of your RV to see how much it can safely handle.

We're not here for a long time, let's have a good time.

I have a Kawasaki KLX250SF that I carry on a ramp mounted on the rear of my Born Free. My coach is rated for 500 lbs. tongue weight. The bike weighs 300 lbs. wet. It's a great little bike except for the seat. It will cruise nicely at 65 to 70 mph.

Make sure to check the specs for your coach. If you have a hitch cargo carrier you could load it up with about 300 lbs. of weight and see how your coach handles.

Thank you guys for replys.

Are you a COG member?
I was back in 2003-04

Not trying to avoid pulling a trailer, i have 10 years OTR experience driving big trucks, just sometimes it's better not to have one.
