Hey Toy Haulers,

We have a lot of new members here, so I thought this might be a good time to remind folks to take a look at the FORUM RULES.

I've had to delete a lot of for sale / wanted posts lately. Even if you're offering an item for free, you still can't post it here on the forum. If you want to horse trade with another member, send a PM instead of a public post.

And a big RV.NET "Welcome Aboard" to all the new members. We're glad you're here. Sorry if the deletes seem heavy handed, but we don't have a choice.

Happy trails,
Dave

And how should we determine who to PM if they don't indicate they have items for sale/wanted in a post?

There's an option in your user profile called "Show GSC Badge". I see the badge in your profile, but there's no way for me to see the options you have selected.

If you have a Good Sam Membership, and the email you use on this forum is the same as the one Good Sam's account has on you...the little Good Sam guy shows up!

Like this...

OOPs...wrong "Good Sam"...here ya go!

I wasn't being smart, just pointing out the obvious problem with the present arrangement.

I am glad it was you who asked the question first. Saved me the embarrassment, because I was going to ask the same question.

OK, fair enough.

I see it all the time. Someone posts that they're upgrading something or that they never use something else. If that's a thing I'm looking for and the other member lives in my area, I PM the guy and ask him if he's willing to part with it.

It's not that hard.
