I found the recipe on the Pillsbury website. They actually give instructions to make these cookies using their refrigerated cookie dough. I made my own dough, but either way, they are really cute.
You can find other quick holiday cookies using the store bought dough on their website.

Happy holidays! Those are really cute! I'll save that recipe! Thank you.
Actually, I kind of like the way yours turned out better than the recipe picture. Yours look more like moose and would be great all year round! Especially here in the NW.

Those are really cute and the grand kids would have fun with them. Thanks for another shortcut idea. Terry R.

Too tempting to keep them in the house! Last year I donated them to the fire station because the paramedics had come to the house eight times in two months to pick my poor husband up off the floor.
I want to know how & what to stuff dates.

I stuff mine with cream cheese and a nut half. I like pecans but walnuts work.

I buy the large Medjool dates, pit them and stuff them with walnut or pecan halves. then I roll them in powdered sugar, shake off the excess and cut them in half, crosswise. They seem to look more attractive that way with the nut showing.

ford coupe, Thank you for the info. We are about 2 hrs. from Lakeland on the Atlantic. We will be attending a rally at the Tampa RV Show in January and drive by Lakeland on the way. Will look for it.
