Couple of things that would personally make me nervous about this one. It's located in Georgetown, TX, which is about 800 miles from Red Bay. That means in approximately 5 years it has only been driven an additional 400 miles, yet it has almost 350 hours on the generator. That would indicate to me that it has been parked for quite awhile, which would be okay for a trailer, but not a motor home. If the engine has been started during this period, it was probably only at idle, which would do more harm than good. It probably is ready for a new set of tires as well.

Yes, but if the price is right, there could be room for the necessary repairs and/or improvements. BTW, the bidding is up to 75K now.
My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

Yes, but the reserve is still not met and I am willing to guess that the reserve is north of $100,000

The bidding closed today on the Tiffin. At one point, it was up to about 105K and the reserve was met. Now it has simply vanished off of their website. Normally, all the RV's that have sold stick around on the website for a week or so. This one for some reason vanished.
Upon edit, I followed the link I provided a few days ago, but it does not show what the final price was. Hmmm, I wonder if the bidder was unable to actually buy the unit. It might come up again next week if that is the case.

If it is true that the radius part of the roof is having problems with cracks, I would walk away and keep on running. I would sure hate to drive to Red Bay to have the roof repaired.

My opinon: Don't try to compare a 2006 with a 2011, there are many differences. You didn't mention if it had a residential fridge, what chassis it was on and what options it had. The roof issue has not effected all units and some people have had it repaired at locations away from Red Bay. Remember, a 2011 could only be a few months old. Or 14 months old. That's easy to verify. Tires should not be a issue.
It's easy to get off track.

The roof radius rail repair doesn't necessarily mean a trip to Red Bay. Tiffin has set up some west coast locations to perform the repair. I just had mine done two weeks ago at La Mesa RV in Mesa, AZ, under the supervision of Tiffin's west coast service rep. They did an excellent job.

All newer tiffins will most likely have roof radius cracking issues.

I understood the all roof issues were on pre 2008 units when the roof was a vendored component. Tiffin then started making their own fiberglass roofs.
