We're headed West on I-10 toward Tucson and wondering if the 375 loop is a good alternative to I-10 to get through El Paso.
Thanks for your thoughts.

I always take any 'loop' around cities.......I avoid driving thru any when possible.
I have taken the 375.....but traffic can come to a stop on any of the routes through/around EL Paso.

We went east through El Paso on Interstate 10 this past April. Absolutely no problems with traffic. We even stopped and had lunch at the Cracker Barrel.

the loop is no better than staying on the interstate.
just avoid the busy a.m. and p.m. hours...shoot for the middle of the day if you can.
stay in the middle lane as much as possible.

We travel thu often. Best route is I10. Avoid rush hour. Best time is Sunday morning. Traffic can be very bad, just watch the trucks!

We always stay on I-10 and yes try to avoid rush hour. We got caught in it this fall and it was slow for a couple of miles, but not a real killer, like Houston or even San Antonio are.

Haven't done I-10 all the way through but did the 375. I remember a bit of a climb going 375.
