i almost ordered a cedar creek 36b4 to replace my silverback 35bq4 bunk house but, there is very little room for a family of 5 sit and watch tv. so i started looking around and i like the voltage v3950 but i think the shower is as small as my current silverback (I'm 6'4" 250 and can barely wash my feet). the other trailer I'm looking at is the cyclone c370 which looks like the same shower as the cedar creek but i seem to like the floor plan on the voltage better. i wish i didn't have to drive 6 to 12 hours to see these trailers in person.
thanks for letting me vent
Merry Christmas

It will be worth the drive.

We drove 6 hours to look at the 300C. I didn't want to make a mistake and be stuck with the wrong rig.

6-12 hours is a drop in the bucket compared to your investment in a new TH.

Make a camping trip out of it! That's what we did....

I agree, either hold off till one closer becomes available for make the trip. Buying sight unseen isn't worth it.

We looked at both the Voltage 3200 and Cyclone 300C and the showers are pretty much the same. We picked the Voltage because we liked the closet space in the bedroom better and the fact that it had some basement space. Also, that step-up in the 300C by the bed was tough for my 5'3" wife.
While doing research on what to buy, I did notice that Forest River has a tub like shower which might be better for you and they have tons of different living-room configurations.
Hope that helps (we only had a three hour drive, but it is a must before you buy IMHO)

Just a "Hint from Heloise" here.

Had I actually sat on the "Thrown"(toilet) in my current 5th Th, I would not have bought it.At 6-2 300, I bang my head into the wall when finishing up. Not fun.

I thought all shower stalls offered in RV's were the same small size that tall people cannot bend over and wash their legs etc?

Take the drive

I just got back from an 18 hour round trip after working a full day to look at a Titanium toy hauler.
From the pictures and the info given over the phone I almost sent a deposit sight unseen. Sooooo glad I didn't. I love the layout and the features on this unit but the water damage on the floor and inside a closet was very disappointing.
It is truly worth the drive to have an extended look at any RV

Take the drive. It'll be fun. Remember, we're all RVers here. We LIKE to travel.

I know the Voltages are sweet. But the floorplan for our 370C is one of the best features to us. Shower is fantastic for a 5th wheel. Plus another half bath in back. The bedroom was a concern but we actually like it more now that we have it and have used it.

Negatives? Storage room in the 370C is quite lacking.

I have thought about that but I think the cost wouldn't be far off the cost of replacing it. Then would I lose resale value? Then the people at dealer could destroy my trailer.
Thanks bobby

Some of the residential fivers and DP's that I saw at a recent RV show had a massive 2-seat shower in them. It would take some serious mods, but maybe you can ask the RV dealer if they could put something like that in your rig...
