when i plug in to the house. or any other house i seems to blow the breaker on my residence have no idea just started. also on the generator their are two switches , son flipped them on or off dont know, their is nothing that even indictes on or off. should they be up or down ? controll panel under the rear bed also says overload, has a red and a green light on at the same time
Do you have a 4 wire 50 amp plug or 3 wire 30 amp?
Did you try shutting off all the circuit breakers inside the coach? Then see if the home circuit breaker trips. turn on one breaker at a time until it trips again, then leave that one off (or two).
Do any circuit breakers trip while on generator power? Does the generator work?
Are the circuit breakers to the generator tripped? Will the problem happen with the circuit breakers ON the generator turned off? (if the problem goes away when the generator circuit breakers are off, and you can run everything normally inside the coach, then the transfer switch is probably bad).
The two switches that you speak of, they are probably three way switches, wired into the generator output and power suppy from the main circuit breaker panel, in such a way that one air conditioner is powered by circuit breaker #2 of the generator and circuit breaker #1 powers the other air conditioner and main electric panel. Yet this is only a guess.
Hopefully someone who owned that model will be able to tell you for sure, until then you might need to seek a helpful electrician that can ohm things out, and figure out what is going where.
Was there a owners manual included with the sale? Usually they ehave extensive information in that packet, it should be about 8-12 pounds of information, and might even include wiring diagrams.
If you haven't already done so you might want to post this on the Beaver Ambassador Club Forum There are folks there who might be able to offer advice more specific to your MH.

hey fred thanks for your input will try that. this is my father in laws coach so im trying to help him oh boy. when the generators on everything works fine i guess, they tryed to use the heater though with the gen running, and the fan kicked on but no heat. i guyess this gen runs on propane? if the propane is low will it not ignight the burner. he says the batterys are fairly new, but hes says they are not charging while driving. they bought this with like twenty k miles about a year ago thanks again
I had a loose wire in the plug end of my shore power cord that caused my house breaker to continue to blow.. didn't realize it till the plug burned up. Put a new end on it and it's been fine since.
Does the plug and cord get hot while pluged in?
Also you might want to check and see what else is on that same breaker in the house.
One note if you are using an adapter from 50 amp to a 30 amp service it will not work on a GFI protected circut.
